I’ve been using Nomad’s Apple Watch bands for years, and I recommend them to anyone with an Apple Watch. They offer a great mix of premium materials, thoughtful design, and durability. That is true of all of their Apple Watch Band categories, from their leather bands to their titanium bands to their bestselling Sports bands. But now, Nomad is introducing a new Apple Watch Band line called the Tempo Band, built with the athlete in mind. This is what you need to know. Nomad has engineered the Tempo Band from the ground up to be used in an athletic setting. It was made to handle sweat and the constant repetition of movement. The Tempo band is molded from highperformance FKM rubber with custom versions to match every Apple size and type. It has a unique curved profile that perfectly matches the lines of the Apple Watch. Here are some specs to take note of: As I mentioned, the Nomad Sport band has been my mostused band type over the last 3 or 4 years. It works great in 99% of settings, is comfortable, and comes in a variety of colors. While the new Tempo band takes some cues from the Sport band, I would say the Tempo band is even more athletefocused for a few reasons. First, it has a lower profile. It is meant to be worn tightly on your wrist, ensuring the sensors do not break contact with it. It also has a dedicated size for the 42mm, 46mm, and 49mm Ultra Apple Watches. The Sport band only has two sizes. Lastly, the Tempo band is a smoother finish and lines up perfectly with the curvature of the Apple Watch. So I would say that the Tempo band was made for those runners, cyclists, and more serious athletes, but can still be worn in daytoday settings. The new Tempo bands are available today directly from Nomad’s site for $They come in three sizes and four colors. I am excited to get my hands on this and take it on a few runs and see how it compares to the Sports band. So stay tuned for a
